The amount of co-payment of medical expenses has a “limit.” Therefore, if an insured person’s co-payment calculated based on a certain standard exceeds the limit, the amount exceeded will be provided as “high medical treatment expense.”

If during the preceding 12 months there was any period for which the insured person and/or dependent was enrolled in another health insurance scheme, the insured person should first obtain the co-payment amount certificate from that insurer and attach it to the application form.
